Introduction

I.1 Overview

The Sharing Platform is a data exchange platform hosted by IAV.

It is used for manual transfer of data with internal and external recipients or senders.

The standard instances of the Sharing Platform are available for short-term data exchange. The data is automatically removed from the system after 30 days.

The open source solution Nextcloud has been selected as the technical foundation and adapted to IAV's ideas.

I.2 Instances

To meet the requirements of the OEM customers, we offer separate instances, so-called Shares, to enable client separation.

The IAV Share is used for data exchange of non-OEM data with cooperation partners such as suppliers, service providers, universities, etc. that do not require separated storage of data.

If it is a project-based data exchange with an OEM customer, client separation is mandatory. In this case, a suitable instance must be used. This is also true for projects where OEM data is exchanged.

The address of the Instance will be provided by IAV.
